Tripje Ha long Bay

We had to gather at the handspan office (tour agency) early in the morning for the trip to Ha Long Bay. It took a 2-3 hour bus drive to the bay but this was okay for us because we could sleep in the bus (still not recovered from jet-lag). The Harbour was packed with wooden sailing boats, our boat was a ' sleeper' boat and very luxury. Everything worked, lights, toilet, and everything looked clean and new, this is not common. The only thing we had to do was lie down on the deck in the sun and sleep, talk and watch the bay. (hope to inlcude pic. soon).
The next day we went canoeing in the sea, luckily on the water it was very quiet and we went into a lagune which could only be reached through a small cave. The mountains in the sea are of lime stone and there are caves everywhere. Then we sailed to an island in Ha long bay. This hotel we stayed was super luxury, we had the penthouse with a stunning view of a bay at Cat Ba Island. Unfortunately the bar closed at 22:00 while we were still playing 'cow trade'.
The last day (11 jan) was for motorcycling on Cat Ba Island, I (Bianca) never drove a motorcycle but it is really great fun. The roads were quiet and we could speed up and down hill superrrrr!
