From the dusty Kl we travelled by a luxury bus into the Cameron highlands. We found a beautiful hotel called Hillview Inn. In the evening we went to an indian restaurant and had a steamboat (no boat, much steam) which was a large bowl of soup in which they throw in fishballs, shrimps, tofu and lots more. The next day we had a simple jungle walk to test my knee and afterwards a nice indian lunch. The cameron highlands are famous for their tea(plantations) and strawberries so we decided to walk 2 km to a tea plantation but when it started to rain we hitchhiked quickly to this beautiful view point. After hitchhiking back Bianca needed a foot reflex massage so she did it, together with another dutch couple (anyway we have met so far many dutch couples, it is almost as if we are back in holland). Because we heard that once in a while people get completely lost in the highlands (2 weeks ago again) we decided to take a guide. It was a weird fellow but the walk was nice and he didn't kill us. My knee started to hurt so from then it was only eating and drinking.
The next day we left beautiful Tanah Rata to go by bus to the big city Georgetown on Penang island.
